Description
A familiar everyday pocketknife transformed into a small piece of functional metalwork. Each genuine Victorinox Classic SD is fitted with scales individually fabricated from reclaimed brass or recycled copper in my Omaha, Nebraska studio.
Each set of scales is cut, formed, fitted, and finished by hand. Choose a solid satin surface for a clean, understated appearance or a hand-hammered satin surface with a naturally individual pattern. Small variations in texture and finish are part of the handmade process.

Solid-finish versions can be personalized with engraved initials, a significant date, or a design motif. Please contact me before ordering to discuss the design, placement, timing, and additional cost. More extensive modifications or entirely new designs are available as custom commissions.
Brass and copper naturally develop a patina through handling and exposure to the environment. The surface may darken and change over time, adding character unique to its owner. Keep the knife clean and dry when not in use.
