Description
The Pill Stud Earrings translate the familiar form of the Pill series into a smaller, quietly wearable pair. Their softly domed surfaces catch the light gently, while the brushed sterling silver finish keeps the design clean and understated.
The series grew from an observation about daily ritual. Taking medication and putting on jewelry are both repeated, intimate actions—small objects picked up, handled, and carried with us throughout the day. One may support the body, while the other can express identity, memory, comfort, or intention. The Pill Earrings bring those rituals together while leaving their meaning open to the person wearing them.
Each earring begins as flat sterling silver sheet. The two halves are individually formed, fitted, soldered, and finished by hand rather than cast or mass produced. At approximately 10 mm in diameter, they have a noticeable presence while remaining comfortable for everyday wear.

Small variations in form and finish are natural evidence of the hand-fabrication process. Sterling silver will gradually develop a patina with wear and can be gently cleaned with mild soap and a soft cloth. If desired, the brushed surface can be refreshed using a clean green nonwoven abrasive pad, applied lightly in one consistent direction.
